Stronghold 

Stronghold Metahuman Penitentiary, Timmins, ON

STRONGHOLD is an underground prison for metahumans who cannot be contained safely in conventional penitentiaries. They are located throughout Canada as determined by population density. The sites are located in former mining towns, using existing shafts to build the infrastructure.

There are 15 cells per detention level, 5 per wing.

There are three Roboto guards on duty for every inmate.

There are two core elevators which travel between the roboto stations and the surface. The elevator shaft with access to Station Two, only goes to Station One. The elevator at Station One leads to the Transfer Area. The Ttransfer Area elevators lead to the next Transfer Area. At each stage, any transfer between levels must wait one minute and is subject to the authorization of Command and Control.

The residents use a series of stairs and elevators, which limit their access to their assigned levels. These stairs and elevator shafts only go between the permitted floors and are a separate system. The shafts are reinforced, metre-thick concrete.

Domo Arigato Each Roboto is equipped with a multiple-effect stun-only beam projector on its head, 360 degree radar, IR/UV/Normal optical sensors, TASERS on its hands and armor plating.

There is a special riot-suppressing system. A Roboto or a human guard can trigger it automatically by uttering a key phrase within earshot of the base's computer, or by hitting a "panic button". A tranquilizing gas or stun beam is activated immediately upon detection of a violent act.
